Having had to share my homes with black widows and brown recluses from California to North Carolina, I was frustrated with sprays which had as much effect on spiders as rain has on a frog. The arachnids would shake it off and walk on. NOT SO HERE! They are stopped dead in their track, literally. Perhaps the focus jet with the plastic straw also helps but the product is very efficient. [2] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-08-15 Summary: Best Spider Killer I've Ever Used ... I am EXTREMELY arachnophobic. If the spider is larger than the tip of my pinky or if it has long legs, I can't kill it. I'm terrified that it will somehow climb up on my shoe or whatever implement I'm trying to kill it with and crawl on ME. I don't mind the daddy long legs type unless they're big or dark in color - for me, the worst are the jumping spider and wolf spider.
